Axe Valley Pedallers - Rides & Events

This will be a ride led by Bar Bunny. The route has been revised due to a lack of decent coffee and cake stops!
The ride will now start from the Dartington Cider Press centre where we can park for free if we all have a coffee stop before the ride. The ride will then follow the cycle path into Totnes before going onto the road and heading to the picturesque village of Ashprington, from there it goes onto Cornworthy before a lunch stop looking over the River Dart at Dittisham. After lunch pedallers take to the water for a very brief jaunt across the river to Greenway, the former home of Agatha Christie. From Greenway the route takes in more wonderful views heading into Stoke Gabriel and a coffee stop at a nice cafe on the river before the last little bit back to Totnes and Dartington.
The mini ferry to Greenway will cost £3.50 (cash only).

This is a lovely ride of about 22 miles with fabulous views and nice stops, but is quite hilly.

There is still the option for those wanting something gentle of riding from Dartington to Totnes and enjoying the shops and cafes, and maybe the castle.
