Re: South West Tour Ride for The Prostate Cancer Charity

Hi Madal, I'd signed up for the pro ride as an individual entry, but have just spoken to the organisers and asked them to transfer me to the AVP team entry, so hopefully I should appear on the AVP Team Sheet.

Cheers T F C

Re: South West Tour Ride for The Prostate Cancer Charity

I see from the Tour Ride website that AVP are the second largest team taking part.
SECOND!! what's that all about.
We need four more to enter to be the FIRST
Come on AVPers the challenge ride from Honiton to Teinmouth is only 70K (42miles)

Lets be having you!

Re: South West Tour Ride for The Prostate Cancer Charity

Hi All,

They haven't actually included both our teams as one i.e. AVP and AVP 75k. I think we have about 28 riders so far so we should be the largest team? They say riders doing any of the rides can be included as one team. What do you think?

Re: South West Tour Ride for The Prostate Cancer Charity

Could I also mention that Foggie has joined the Challenge ride and several people have transferred from the long ride to the Challenge, so it would be useful to join the two rides together.

Re: South West Tour Ride for The Prostate Cancer Charity

Hi Barley,

you need to go back on their site and book a place for you and your bike on the shuttle bus back from Teignmouth to Honiton - that's what most of us are doing - Foggie has just booked her place so there is still room at the moment. It costs about £12.00 I think.

Good luck smile

Re: South West Tour Ride for The Prostate Cancer Charity

Bonjour Degree from la belle France. I am registered for the pro ride and have been in touch with the organisers to ask them to add me to the AVP team as I didn't do this when I registered. I will check with them that I am registered as an Axe Valley rider when I get back next Saturday.

Re: South West Tour Ride for The Prostate Cancer Charity

Is everyone ready for Sunday?

For those of us doing the Challenge ride, the start is 9.00-10.00am in Honiton. Am not sure which car park but it will be sign posted.

It would be good to set off together and I imagine the sooner the better if we have a choice, so a 9.00 oclock start would be good.

If anyone has any more infor or suggestions, can you post it soon.

See you all on Saturday when the tour returns big_smile big_smile
